- A popular spot for kite-surfing and windsurfing, visit the island of Nanunu I Ra, only 1 km off the coast. Take a picnic and enjoy the day out in the warm Fijian weather and waters.
- Recently attaining a merit award for being one of the best, Oni Beach on the northern most side of the Island is a fabulous place to visit. With 7 beaches and 5 shops for basic food items, this is a great destination for a day out.
- Take the 2 hour journey to Suva down the Eastern side of the island and on your journey via the Kings Road highway, see the "real" Fiji while passing through local villages.
- Scuba diving off the northern shores of Viti Levu is some of the finest in Fiji with amazing soft corals and great visibility.
- Superb blue water sportfishing and big gamefishing is available in Fiji if this is your thing.
- Take in the prominent landmark of Navatu Rock, in Vitawa village, believed to be one of Fiji's oldest settlements. Pottery excavated at the base of the rock has been dated as far back as 1000BC.
